스페이스 소는 ART OnO 2025에서 김겨울, 방소윤, 변상환, 이병호, 조성연 그리고 최수앙 작가의 작업을 선보인다. 기호를 넘어선 본능의 언어를 상상하며 추상 회화를 통한 감각적인 세계를 탐구하는 김겨울, 디지털과 아날로그, 가상과 현실의 경계를 넘나드는 경험을 통해 디지털 세계와 물리적 세계 사이에서 벌어지는 일들을 탐구하는 방소윤, 도심의 기이한 현상들을 탐사하고 미술의 다양한 형식과 그 경계를 넘나드는 실험적인 작업을 통해 인간 사회의 의미와 역사를 입체적으로 표현하는 변상환, '시간'에 따라 '변화하는 조각'을 실현하는 실험적인 방법론으로 인체 조각의 고전적 개념을 현대적으로 재해석하는 조각가 이병호, 일상에서 발견되는 대상을 섬세하게 관찰하고 이에 사진과 수행적 요소를 더하는 방식으로 사유의 흐름, 삶과 죽음의 순환 등을 가시화하는 조성연, 인체와 생명을 은유하는 형상을 매개로 개인과 사회의 관계를 탐구하며 최근에는 추상적 조형 언어를 통해 형식과 의미의 확장 가능성을 탐구하고 있는 최수앙의 작품을 ART OnO 2025에서 만나볼 수 있다. |
SPACE SO will present the works of Winter Gyeoul Kim, Bang Soyun, Byun Sanghwan, ByungHo Lee, Seongyeon Jo, and Xooang Choi at ART OnO 2025. Winter Gyeoul Kim, who imagines the language of instinct beyond the limitations of conventional language and explores a sensuous world through abstract painting; Bang Soyun, who explores interplay between the digital and physical worlds by transcending the boundaries of digital and analog, virtual and real; Byun Sanghwan, who investigates unusual phenomena of urban life and expresses meaning and history of human society through works that cross the boundaries of various art forms; ByungHo Lee, a sculptor who reinterprets the classical concept of human sculpture in a contemporary context through experimental methodologies, exploring “sculptures that change over time”; Seongyeon Jo, who carefully observes objects in everyday life and visualizes the flow of thought and the cycle of life and death through photography and performative gestures; Xooang Choi, who explores the relationship between the individual and society through shapes that metaphorically represent human body and living organism, recently expanding the possibilities of form and meaning through abstract sculptural language. These artists’ works will be showcased at ART OnO 2025. |
